Cape Cod, Massachusetts - A Favorite Family Vacation Destination

The sea-shore is always one of the best places for anyone to vacation and Cape Cod is a case in point. This exquisite area is on of the most popular with visitors in the US because of is pristine beauty, and the fact that three is so much to see and do.

Whether you are taking a vacation, week-end or mid-week break, this destination has something for everyone on offer. The area played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of the US and this is land-marked by the many historic sites vacationers are able to visit. The countryside is filled with wooded walking and bicycle paths (bikes are available as rentals). Quaint shops, unspoiled beaches, theatre, art, music festivals and other events, offers the visitor plenty to see and do.

Golf courses in the Cape Cod area are famed for being the best in New England, there is "A" list fine dining, available, but if you like the sea-shore for the salt water taffy, you will find this too. The best seafood in the US can be found in Cape Cod, it is after all named after a fish! Their fried clams are simply the best! If you want a sea-shore vacation to take you back to your memories of childhood, the sea, dunes, san-castles and shells, you can't do much better than this area.

The sea shores of Cape Cod have been immortalized in "Forbes Traveler" as one of the twenty five most visited tourist destinations, and the reason for this is clear to see. Visitors from anywhere in the world have easy access to the area from Logan Airport in Boston, or TF Green airport in Providence, Rhode Island. Just check out Boston Tunnel closures before planning your arrival. Two bridges cross the Cape Cod canal and access to the area is also available by ferry services which operate daily.

With a shoreline spanning 559.6 miles, 15 unique towns to visit and whales feeding on the Stellwagen Bank, there is plenty to do to keep even the most avid tourist entertained. Whale spotting is an absolute must-do, and from May to October the Hyannis Whale Watchers Cruise is a very popular activity and should not be missed.

These high speed vessels sail from May to October from Barnstable Harbor, and these adventures are actually used as a platform for educating people of all ages regarding the conservation of, and the wonderful world of whales.

There is plenty of accommodation of all types available from camp grounds and home rentals, to spas, hotels B&B's, inns and motels of all budgets. But make sure you book before you leave and have confirmed your booking. Accommodation in the area fills up fast in-season at this popular destination.

Music in the Park at Coralville, Iowa

There are many ways to celebrate weekends with a bang. It can be a trip to the park, a dinner at some upscale restaurant or a weekend concert. At Coralville, an exciting weekend affair is brewing- it is again time for the annual Music in the Park.

This year's affair is indeed another great offering from the fresh local talents of Coralville. Iowa is a state brimming with talents and awesome events. Spectators and music enthusiasts from Coralville and nearby towns are expected to gather and attend this exciting event. Wanna listen to your favorite song? The bands can sing your chosen song for you because of the newest song request offering at the event. The event is also an ideal time for other band members to reunite and meet and greet in one roof.

Attendees of the event are mostly high school kids who simply want to have a great time. They are often seen in the previous year's carrying their guitars and musical instruments to sign up for the show. It is indeed pleasant to see such young kids dedicated to mastering their chosen craft- while having fun and obviously staying out of bad influences.

The park will be awesomely decorated for this year carrying the theme: "Green is IN". Organizers will make use of every "green" and eco-friendly" design elements they can find in order to keep up with this year's theme. Green speakers will also be invited to give privilege speeches and seminars to the attendees during intermission parts.
