How Anyone Can Develop Telepathy

By George J Dexon

Telepathy is the direct exchange of thoughts, feelings and emotions between the minds of two people. This is a method of communication which uses nothing but the power of the mind to convey a message.

The telepathic ability is one that all humans possess to some degree, but have lost the means by which to control it on a conscious level. We all experience moments of telepathic activity subconsciously from time to time. Imagine being able to control that innate ability and use it to communicate.

There is still a large amount of skepticism surrounding the use of mind powers of any degree but consider this: how many times have you been in a great mood only to meet a person who is gloomy and depressed. Within just a few minutes of talking with the miserable person, your own mood starts to reflect the same thing.

Was it what they said? Not at all, at least not with their words. It is telepathy which has allowed you to feel what your friend is feeling.

It has been shown in studies that the part of the subconscious mind which controls telepathy can be activated. What you need to do is to focus on the person with whom you want to communicate in this way.

As with any other form of communication, we are taught as children by our elders. Our parents teach us speech and body language, so that we mimic the same language and even the same accents. This is because we all have the same ability to learn to communicate, but we only communicate in the ways in which we were taught.

Of course, your parents probably never taught you to use your telepathic abilities, but this does not mean that you cannot use them. All it means is that you have not yet been taught how.

Here are some ways to develop the telepathic abilities which all of us are born with.

Mental-Muscle training

In much the same way as young children need to learn to strengthen their voice boxes and learn to control how their mouth moves as they learn to make words, youll need to learn to strengthen and control your telepathic muscles.

It is easiest to access the part of your brain which controls telepathic function when you are in a trance state. You can reach this state of deep relaxation by using relaxation techniques including meditation.

You have to practice until it is easy for you to reach this state. Once you have managed to do this, you have started training your mind to use telepathy.

Focus

It does take some practice to maintain your focus while in the deep relaxation of a trance state. Focus on someone who you want to telepathically communicate with as you relax and stay focused as you slip into a trance state.

Visualize this person, trying to project positive thoughts towards them. Next, visualize them receiving these thoughts. Keep focused on this until you feel that the person youre thinking of has had time to receive these thoughts.

Then withdraw your focus completely. Its important to stop the contact so the person will feel the loss of communication, which will prompt them to re-establish the connection and contact you in return.

The point of learning to focus while on your own is so that when you begin your training with a partner, your mind will already be receptive and ready to receive impressions and images more easily.

Partner Practice

Choose one person to be the receiver and one to be the sender. The sender should choose simple items to project. Choose items with clear, bright colors that are easily recognizable.

The receiver should be prepared with pad and pen to record any and all impressions and thoughts that come to mind.

Afterwards, sender and receiver compare notes to assess how successful the exercise has been. Dont get discouraged; telepathy is an ability which takes practice, but you will improve over time.

Australian Vacations

By Jennifer Schellington

Thinking about a vacation in Australia?

Australia is a wonderful country offering something for everyone. It has plenty of sunshine, amazing beaches, an outback landscape that is stunning and of course some great cities and the Great Barrier Reef.

Australian holidays can be anything you want them to be. But make sure you do some careful planning. Don't underestimate the size of Australia which makes getting around difficult if you rely solely on a car or campervan. You will need to combine it with some air travel.

Take some advice from a local who has been there, seen it and done it! Plan your trip in sync with the Australian Weather. The good news is that it doesn't matter when you travel, there is always somewhere in Australia that is hot (or cold!)

The majority of Australia is hot from late October through to late March. So this would be the best time to visit the East Coast of Australia or the West Coast of Australia around Perth or up towards Broome.

The top end of Australia (anything north of and including Cairns and Broome) has two seasons - the wet and the dry. The dry season is the time when you want to go. It's just not a good idea to go in the wet as roads and attractions are often closed due to flooding. There is one exception to this though. You shouldn't be put off going to the Great Barrier Reef. It might rain a bit on your way out to the reef and the boat trip could be a bit rocky but its definitely worth it.

If you are looking for a real Aussie outback experience then the top end around Darwin is a good bet. Find the time in your schedule to explore Darwin and its national parks of Kakadu and Litchfield. Perfect for getting to know the aboriginal way of life.

If you are lucky enough to have a few months to explore Australia, the country is your oyster! If you are planning a shorter trip, allow at least 3 weeks.

Try and ensure that your trip takes in these three elements - outback, beach/coast and a city.

If its your first Australia vacation, make sure you visit the icons " yes a couple of them may be a bit touristy but they are a must do:

Sydney for its harbour, restaurants, beaches and iconic buildings like the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Operal House. Melbourne for its fashion, shopping and cafe culture. Ayers Rock for a truly aboriginal and spiritual experience.Kangaroo Island a brilliant way to see Australian animals in their natural habitat.Jervis Bay a 3 hour drive from Sydney offering stunning beaches. You'll feel like your on an ad for a Bounty chocolate bar!The Great Barrier Reef for its stunning marine life. Its like discovering a whole new world. Australia is also a great place to learn to dive " the waters are generally warm and the marine life is just fantastic. So what are you waiting for!

Solana Beach: SoCal's Quintessential Beach Town

By Heather Hunnefeld

The little beach-town of Solana Beach is nestled along the Pacific Ocean's sandy coast approximately 22 miles north of the San Diego airport. It's bordered by the protected San Elijo Lagoon (great hiking and jogging trails!) on the north, the chic town of Del Mar (and it's horse race track) on the south, the popular Lomas Santa Fe Country Club on the east and, of course, the sparkling Pacific Ocean on the west.

Solana Beach lives up to it's "sol" name with sunny winter temperatures averaging 60 - 62 degrees. Summer highs rarely exceed a comfortable 75 - 77 degrees thanks to the ocean's sea breezes. The combination of wonderful weather, palm trees and sparking ocean give Solana Beach a reputation as a near-perfect paradise.

This quintessential beach town is a popular for its diversity; here you will find eclectic shops, world-class restaurants, active nightlife, beach sports, nature walks and hiking. An evening tradition shared by locals and visitors is gathering at Fletcher Cove Beach to enjoy the incredible sunsets.

The popular Cedros District has the quaintness and mystery of an old European side-street featuring more than eighty shops from trendy to antique, chic to bohemian. A litte exploring will find authentic furniture from the far east, antiques from Africa, hand-woven tapestries from South America, tony spas, adventure and travel gear, custom hand-made jewelry, health-food restaurants, design studios and one-of-a-kind salons. all combining to make Cedros one of San Diego's most interesting shopping and business areas.

Perhaps the most famous commercial establishment in Cedros is the Belly Up Tavern with a distinguished history of bringing all kinds of music to the San Diego area. The Belly Up has often been voted "San Diego's Best Live Music Venue" by the San Diego Union Tribune, The San Diego Reader and San Diego Magazine. It's been called "one of the coolest music scenes on the west coast" by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Cedros is also the hub of the Solana Beach commuter rail system. Both the Amtrak and San Diego's commuter train, the Coaster, have stops at the Solana Beach station giving easy access to all the communities along the coast without having to chance the notorious southern California highway system.

Each summer the Solana Beach Triathlon Club sponsors the Solana Beach Triathlon starting with an ocean swim and followed by bike riding and a three mile run. Thousands of participants and spectators fill Solana Beach each year to enjoy friends, family, weather and sports in the town of surf, sand and sun.

Solana Beach was the first city in the U.S. to enact a no-smoking ordinance on its public beaches. Dozens of other coastal California communities have since followed suit in banning smoking on public beaches.

Solana Beach is a mixture of the old and the new just like most SoCal coastal beach towns, The area along the coast and the coast highway was built up in the 1940s and 1950s, consisting today of a pleasant mix of shops, remodeled homes, art galleries, quaint offices and unique restaurants.

East of Interstate 5 is the Lomas Santa Fe golf course surrounded by high-priced newer homes. More than two-thirds of Solana Beach was built in the last twenty years. The Jenny Craig Corporation is located in Solana Beach, employing more than 180 people.

There are many lovely inns near the beaches in the San Diego area including Solana Beach Bed and Breakfasts and Cardiff By The Sea Inns.
